SADIE COLLINS

  Funeral services for the late Mrs. Sadie Critchfield Collins, who died at her 
home in Confluence, June 5, were held at the Humbert Funeral Home, Monday 
afternoon at 2:30, with the Rev. J. S. Shannon officiating.  
  Mrs. Collins was born near Somerset, February 24, 1880.  She was the daughter 
of the late Samuel and Matilda (Minder) Critchfield.  She was the widow of Harry 
Collins, who died 12 years ago at his home in Confluence.
  She is survived by one brother, Harry Critchfield, of Richwood, W.Va., and a 
half-sister, Mrs. Maggie Rush of Ursina, and Mrs. Joseph Barkley, a niece with 
whom she made her home the last few years.
  Mrs. Collins was a life long member of the Ursina Lutheran Church, being 
active in its many branches.
  Interment was in the Ursina Cemetery in the family plot, under the direction 
of C. B. Humbert, Confluence mortician.
