Collins, 80, of Somerset, died May 25, 1976 in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Aug. 12, 1895 in Masontown, a son of John and Eva McCoy Collins. He is survived by his widow the former Alda Hoffman, two sons, Dr. William of Davis, Col.; and James M. of Somerset; and 10 grandchildren. He was a brother of: E. Clarence of Vinton, Va.; Walter and Mrs. Russell (Barbara) Cain, both of Masontown; Mrs. Margaret Dugay of East Rlverdale, Md.; Mrs. Frank (Kathryn) Townsend of New Geneva. Preceded in death by two brothers. He was a retired barber, a veteran of World War I, member of the American Legion, and the Pennsylvania Barracks 3218, Veterans of World War I. He was a former member of the Somerset School Board. Friends received after 2 p.m, Tuesday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev.
