HELEN COMMOTES

  Mrs. Helen Commotes, 72, died at her home on Garrett R.D. 1, last Friday 
evening.  She was a native of Yugoslavia.  Her husband, Joseph, survives, also 
the following children: Mrs. Francis Steele, Fairmont; Mrs. Jennie Moyer, 
Somerset; Mrs. Mary Esteck, Garrett; Joseph Commotes, Jr., Garrett, R.D. 1.
  Funeral services, under the direction of the Johnson Funeral Directors of 
Berlin, were held in SS. Philip and James Catholic Church, Meyersdale, Tuesday 
morning, Rev. Father Thomas Houghton, officiating.  Interment was made in the 
church cemetery.
