Born Nov. 4, 1940, in Meyersdale, daughter of Mary C. (Tressler) Yoder Barlett of Mitchellville, Md. and the late G. Ralph Yoder. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert in 1982, and an infant daughter, Joanne. She is survived by her husband, John Compton and these children, Robin Brant, Salisbury; Theresa, wife of James Seifert; and George Krause and his wife Stacy, all of Meyersdale. Also survived by these grandchildren, Matthew and Angie Brant, Eric Hotchkiss, Sherry Gindlesperger and Mary and Bobby Seifert; and two great-grandchildren, Bree and Isaac Gindlesperger. Survived by sisters, Margaret Yoder, Hudson Ohio; GeorgiaLee Meyers, Maryland; and Ruth E. Yoder, Mitchelville. Was a member of Salisbury VFW. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home where service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery Inc.
