  CONFER
  
  Mrs. Pearle S. Confer, 92, Main Street, Natrona Heights, the widow of Mr.
  Earle W. Confer, died in the Presbyterian Home, Oakmont, March 24, 1978. 
  She lived in the Natrona Heights area most of her life.  She was preceded
  in death by her parents Isaac and Sarah (West) Schreckengost.  She is
  survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Robert Betty Lorentz, Somerset, Mrs.
  John Roxie Thompson, Worthington, one son, Mr. Dwight (Piney) Confer,
  Natrona Heights, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a
  brother Oscar Schreckengost, Pleasantville.  Friends will be received in
  the Robert E. Peters Funeral Home, 1521 Freeport Road, Route 28, Natrona
  Heights 7-9 p.m. Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.  Service in the funeral
  home Monday, March 27, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Alfred M. Beemer [part of 
  obit missing] of the Natrona Presbyterian Church.  Interment, Mt. Airy Cemetery.
