  CONN
  
  Charles Conn Jr., 65, of Confluence RD 1, died Feb. 12, 1988, in the
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born April 1, 1922, in Draketown, a son of
  the late Charles and Adeline (Porterfield) Conn.  Surviving are his wife,
  Betty (Hyatt) Conn; a daughter, Collene, married to Wilbert Kemp of
  Confluence; four grandchildren, Charles Alan, Kimberly Joe, Andrea and
  Michelle; three brothers, Hillery, Fred and Richard; and two sisters,
  Frances Kreger and Verna Kreger, all of Confluence.  Preceded in death by
  four brothers and a sister.  A veteran of World War II.  Friends will be
  received 7-9 p.m. Saturday, and from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, at the
  Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where services will be held Monday at
  1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Nevin Umbel officiating.  Interment, Jersey
  Cemetery.
