  CONN
  
  Elizabeth "Alverda" Conn, 77, of Somerset, died Nov. 3, 2001 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born March 11, 1924 in Sipesville, daughter of the late Harvey
  and Bertha (Ankeny) Stump Enos Dunmeyer.  Also preceded in death by husband
  James A. Conn, who died in 1989, infant daughter and son, sisters Grace
  Distefano, Erma Smith and Lillian Gastley and a brother, Earl Dunmeyer. 
  Survived by children: Jackie, married to Orville May of Taylor, Mich.,
  Donna, married to Harry Nair of Stoystown and Greg Conn, married to former
  Ann Tressler of Somerset; grandchildren Joann, Hazel, Rhonda, George,
  Mindy, Ashley and Chelsey; seven great-grandchildren and 11
  great-great-grandchildren.  Sister of Harry Dunmeyer of Listie, Donald
  Stump of Acosta and Jean Grove of Alliance, Ohio.  Also survived by her
  faithful dog Tippy.  Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 p.m,
  Tuesday with Pastor David Fetter officiating.  Interment in Bethany
  Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to Somerset Area Agency on Aging, 1338
  S. Edgewood Ave. Somerset, Pa. 15501 or Lutheran Social Services.
