  CONN
  
  Fred E. Conn, 70 of Confluence RD 1, died March 30, 1994, at his home. 
  Born June 30, 1923, in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, son of the late Charles
  and Adeline (Porterfield) Conn.  Preceded in death by wife, Ruth Tressler,
  six brothers, and a sister.  Survived by three sons: Larry of Fort Hill,
  Kenneth of Verona, Va.; and Walter of Confluence, 11 grandchildren, and two
  great-grandchildren.  Brother, Richard Conn and two sisters: Frances Kreger,
  and Verna Kreger all of Confluence.  Veteran of WW II.  Member of Ursina
  American Legion, and Carpenters Local 2274 of Pittsburgh.  Friends will be
  received 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Humbert Funeral Home Confluence
  where service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Vernon Witt
  officiating.  Interment, Jersey Cemetery.
