  James A. Conn, 66, Somerset RD 2, died Oct. 9, 1989, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Feb. 6, 1923, in Rockwood, son of Ilga (Bell) Olsen,
  Stahlstown, and the late Samuel D. Conn.  Preceded in death by an infant
  son, an infant daughter and a sister, Helen King.  Survived by his wife, E.
  Alverda Dunmeyer, and these children: Jackie, wife of Orville May, Taylor,
  Mich.; Donna "Tom," wife of Harry Nair, Somerset; and Greg, married to the
  former Ann Tressler, Somerset RD 2, 7 grandchildren, 6
  great-grandchildren.  Also survived by Stepfather, Ernest Olsen,
  Stahlstown; two sisters: Mary Belle Conn, Mount Pleasant, and Betty Cairns,
  Titusville, Fla., and two stepsisters: Tillie Kimmel, Stoystown, and Ethel
  Mae Maust, Somerset.  Owner-operator of Conn Excavating and Trucking
  Company.  Member of New Baltimore Sportsmen's and Jenner Rod and Gun
  Club.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Wednesday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where service will be
  conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Rev. Donald Krestar officiating. 
  Interment, Bethany Cemetery.
