  CONN
  
  Joseph A. "Pappy" Conn, 71, of Confluence RD 1, died Nov. 8, 1995, at his
  home.  Born March 8, 1924, in Lower Turkeyfoot Township.  A son of the late
  Joseph R. and Edna R. (Augustine) Conn.  Also preceded in death by three
  brothers and four sisters.  Surviving are two sisters, Geneva Cowden of
  Washington, Pa., and Carolyn Will of Berlin, and two brothers, Ronald of
  Confluence and Joseph P. "Butch" of Middletown, Md.  Member of Laborers
  Local 1058 of Pittsburgh, Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Association and the
  Meyersdale Moose Lodge.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday
  and 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence,
  where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Thomas
  Charles officiating.  Interment, Jersey Cemetery.
