  CONN
  
  Mae L. Conn, 89, of Somerset, formerly of Confluence, died Oct. 26, 1999,
  at Somerset Hospital.  Born April 29, 1910, in Springfield Twp., a daughter
  of Jacob and Laura (Younkin) Shroyer.  Preceded in death by parents,
  husband, Lester in 1966, daughter, Jacqueline, son, Thomas, and grandson,
  Michael.  Also sister, Gertrude Harbaugh, infant sister, Hazel, brothers,
  William, his twin brother, Kenneth, and Osborne Shroyer.  Survived by these
  children: Alvin (married to Loretta) Conn of Confluence; Pearl Oakman of
  Somerset; Jacob (married to Barbara) Conn of Lorain, Ohio; Warren "Chub"
  (married to Nancy) Conn of Confluence; Laura Conn of Somerset; Melda
  (married to Paul) Wilson of Confluence; Sandra "Kay" (married to Ronald)
  Sabin of Vermillion, Ohio; Bernon "Bun" (married to Linda) Conn of
  Somerset; and Dana (married to Dennis) Troup of Somerset.  Also 28
  grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. 
  Sister of Marie Johnson of Normalville.  Retired employee of the Beacon
  Restaurant, the L&N Restaurant and the Somerset Food Pantry.  Member of the
  Geiger Church of the Brethren.  Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Thursday
  and 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home Somerset, where a service
  will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating. 
  Interment, Jersey Cemetery Confluence.
