  Mary E. Conn, 84, Confluence, died Dec. 15, 2005, at her home.
  
  She was born Dec. 6, 1921, in Fair Oaks, a daughter of the late Joseph and
  Margaret (Whaley) Nicola. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death
  by her husband, James Ray Conn, and a brother, Clarence Nicola. She is survived
  by a daughter, Dixie Hyatt, and husband Don, Confluence; grandchildren, Cindy
  Smith and husband, Ken, and Terry Hyatt and wife, Ruth Ann, all of Confluence;
  and three great-grandchildren, Stefanie Hyatt, and Diana and Leslie Humbert.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Humbert Funeral Home
  in Confluence, where services will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Ronald
  Schaeffer officiating. Interment, Jersey Cemetery.
