Conner, 91, Rockwood, died May 14, 2001 at his home. Born Aug. 4, 1909 in Cherry Valley, a son of the late Heber and Sarah (Wagner) Conner. Preceded in death by first wife, Thelma (Shober) Conner, who died in 1987, two daughters, Marlene Haywood and Arvella Conner, two brothers, Charles Conner and Bert Conner and a sister, Elizabeth Cass. Survived by his wife, Opal Brush Fox Conner, to whom he was married June 20, 1992; three children, Evelyn Mosgrove of Conneaut, Ohio, Lois Cottle of Jefferson, and Danny Conner of Rockwood; a stepson, Gerry Fox of Venice, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; a step great-grandson; and a sister, May Beddick of Erie. He was a retired minister with the Church of the Nazarene and had served many churches in Pennsylvania. Florida, Ohio and Massachusetts. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Confluence, and was a member of the district board of Orders and Relations for the Church of the Nazarene. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson. Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor. Visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Church of the Nazarene in Waynesburg with the Rev. Thomas Charles officiating. Interment, Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg. In lieu of Flowers, Rev. Conner suggested donations to the Home Mission of the Church of the Nazarene, Pittsburgh District, Mt.
