  KENNETH A. CONNER
  
    Kenneth A. Conner, 46, of Hyndman, died Friday, Dec. 20, 1985, at his
  residence.
    Born in Cumberland, Md., March 14, 1939, he was a son of the late George
  Lester Conner.  He resided in Hyndman since 1962, coming from Ellerslie,
  Md.  He was the owner and operator of Conner's Grocery.  He was the Master
  of Hyndman Lodge 589, AF&AM and president of the Director's Staff of the
  Ali Ghan Temple.  He was a 32nd Degree Mason, Scottish Rite Bodies,
  Cumberland.  He was a member of the Hyndman Londonderry Lions Club and the
  Pennsylvania Grocers' Association.
    He is survived by his widow, Erma Jean (Ritchie) Conner; two sons: Leslie
  A. Conner, at home, and Rick O. Conner, Hyndman; two daughters: Miss Sherrie
  Lynn Conner and Miss Lee Ann Conner, both at home; one brother, James A.
  Conner, Ridgeley; five sisters: Mrs. Margaret DeVore, and Mrs. Mildred
  King, Ellerslie; Mrs. Alberta Bittner, Meyersdale RD 4; Mrs. Thelma Neer,
  Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Joanne Paul, Laurel, Md.
    He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
    Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home.
