     Richard Lee Connor, 67 formally of Grantsville, MD (known to many as the Woodchopper
  in the CB radio era) passed away on May 11, 2007 at his home in Lucerne Valley, CA from
  complications of renal cancer.   He was born October 25, 1939 in Johnstown, a son of
  Robert T. and Margie E. (Peggy) Walker Connor.    He is survived by his wife, Sherry Lynn
  Connor, of 23 plus years; his daughter, Susan A, Tressler; son-in-law, David C. Tressler
  (formally of Springs); granddaughter, Connor Leigh Tressler; and Aunt, Martha M. Nagle,
  all of Riverside, CA and his Uncle, Herman E. Walker, of Warren, OH.   He spent many
  years as a construction superintendent and in 1985 became a self-employed general
  contractor, retiring in 2004.    Friends were received at the Rubidoux Mortuary 6091
  Mission Blvd., Riverside, CA 92509 on Friday, May 18th. Viewing was from 9 to 9:30 a.m.
  with services immediately following. A graveside service was held at Olivewood Cemetery
  3300 Central Avenue, Riverside, CA.   In lieu of sending flowers the family requests
  donations be made in Richard's name to Hospice, 12421 Hesperia Road, Suite 11,
  Victorville, CA 92395.   Condolences can be sent to the family at P.O. Box 3144,
  Riverside, CA 92519.
