  CONRAD
  
  Joan (Carlson) Conrad, 55, of 679  West Main St., Somerset, died  Aug. 26,
  1986, in the Somerset Community Hospital.  Born March  16, 1931, in Anita,
  Pa., daughter of the late Edward Carlson and  Esther Anderson.  She was
  married to John J. Conrad, who survives; one son, Donald Wood of Dayton RD
  2, Pa.; three grandchildren; two step-children: Judy Hodge of DuBois; and
  Paul E. Conrad of Erie; and five step-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by
  her parents and two brothers, Jerome and Gilbert.  Friends will be received
  in the Deeley Funeral Home in Punxsutawney 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. 
  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the funeral home with
  the Rev. Jean Weaver officiating.  Interment, Morningside Cemetery in DuBois.
