  CONRAD
  
  John J. Conrad, 71, of Bando Road, Somerset died March 17, 1998 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 8, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Paul Leroy and
  Virginia Mae (Rimer) Conrad.  Preceded in death by parents, brother Bruce
  Conrad and sister, Anna Stumpf.  Survived by wife the former Patricia E.
  Ulery and children: Paul Conrad of Erie; Mrs. Judy Hodge, Dubois;
  step-daughter: Mrs. James D. (Melanie), Fraley of Somerset, step-son:
  Donald Woods of Dayton. Pa.; 5 grandchildren. 5 step-grandchildren and 3
  great-grandchildren.  Attended Milford United Methodist Church.  Member of
  Garfield Lodge 5591 F&AM of Dubois, Army veteran of W.W. II.  Salesman and
  manager for Highway Equipment in Somerset, retiring in 1997.  Presently
  employed at Kenny Ross Chevrolet in Somerset.  Friends will be received
  from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where services
  will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Randall Bain
  officiating.  Interment Morningside Cemetery, Dubois where committal
  service will be, held at 1 p.m. Thursday.  Contributions may be made to the
  Milford United Methodist Church c/o Reverend Randall Bain, 621 West
  Broadway, Rockwood, PA 15557.
