  Wayne Conway, 72, of Confluence RD 1, died Jan. 30, 1997 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 3, 1924 in Confluence, a son of the late Harry Virgil
  and Flossie M. (Taylor) Conway.  Also preceded in death by a son, Daniel. 
  Survived by his wife, the former Jessica Dunthorn; five sons: Wayne Francis
  of Columbia. Md.; Kenneth of Clearfield; Russell of Huron, Ohio; Ronald
  "Skunk" of Confluence; and David of Bentleyville; two daughters: Joyce
  Pritts of New Centerville, and Judy Brown of Hershey; 12 grandchildren,
  four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Frank Conway of Markleysburg.  A
  U.S, Navy veteran of WW II.  Member of the Ursina Church of God.  Former
  Confluence Borough policeman, and a retired employee of Confluence
  Hardware.  Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the Humbert
  Funeral Home, Confluence, where service will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday with
  the Rev. Ron Follett officiating.  Interment in Jersey Cemetery.
