  Arthur L. Cook, 88, of Salisbury, died Nov. 8, 1987, at Memorial Hospital,
  Cumberland, Md.  Born Nov. 30, 1898, in Meyersdale, the son of the late
  Irvin and Maggie M. (Housel) Cook.  Preceded in death by wife, the former
  Alma C. Caton.  Survived by two sons: Harry I. of Salisbury and A. Glenn of
  Stuart, Fla.; two sisters: Mrs. Pearl Siehl, Detroit, Mich.; and Mrs. Helen
  Cook Engle, Meyersdale; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. 
  Retired auto body repairman for Casselman Motor Co. of Grantsville, Md. 
  Member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Salisbury.  Friends will be received.
  Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Thomas
  Funeral Home, Salisbury, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11
  a.m., the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating.  Interment, Greenville Cemetery.
