    Blanche Cook, 93, of Philson Apartments, Berlin, died Jan. 19, 1979, in
  Berlin.  She was born Jan. 13, 1886, in Brothersvalley Township, daughter
  of Henry H. and Margaret E. (Sanner) Smith.  She was preceded in death by
  parents; husband, Albert, in 1959; three brothers; and four sisters.
    She is survived by these sisters: Mrs. Evelyn Sides, Akron. Ohio, and
  Mrs. Hazel Engle of Berlin.
    She was a member of the Berlin United Church of Christ, former nurse and
  school teacher.  Friends were received in Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown
  where services were held at Berlin United Church of Christ with the Rev.
  Charles W. Sigler officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
