  Carolyn Janet (Lenhart) Cook, 80, District Heights, Md., died Dec. 5, 2006.
  Born Nov. 29, 1926 in Confluence, a daughter of Harry W. and Alice E. Smith
  Lenhart. Preceded in death by parents and brothers, George and Joseph Lenhart.
  Devoted wife of 57 years of George Donald Cook, sister of Miriam Glessner of
  Pittsburgh. Loving mother of Sandra L. Garner, Rockville, Md., and Brian K.
  Cook, Waldorf, Md. Other survivors include five grandchildren, Robert Garner,
  Stephen Cook, James Garner, Jennifer Cook and David Cook. A 1944 Confluence
  High School graduate. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Dec. 23 at The
  Lutheran Church of the Holy Comforter, 3319 Alabama Ave., SE, Washington, D.C.
  Internment at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
  contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimers Association,
  www.alz.org.
