  Charles W. Cook, 81, died Thursday May 21, 1987, at Shadyside Hospital,
  Pittsburgh.  Born Aug. 4, 1905,in Somerset, he was the son of the late
  Nannie (Brubaker) and Jacob Cook.  He was a service station operator in
  Somerset, later moving to Pittsburgh where he was a fuel oil distributor
  for the Humble Oil Co.  He was a member of Somerset Lodge 358, F&AM, a
  member of the Scottish Rite, Pittsburgh, and a 32nd Degree Mason.  Preceded
  in death by his wife, Ruth J. (Montgomery) in 1976.  Survived by a son,
  Theodore W. Cook; two daughters, Carole Vandall, and Sandra Haschak, all of
  Pittsburgh; a sister, Beulah Rich of Toledo, Ohio; seven grandchildren and
  one great-grandchild.  Friends received 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the
  William F. Gross Funeral Home, 11735 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills, where
  services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday.  Ashes interred at Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
