Cook, 74, of Glencoe, died on Saturday, January 26, in the Memorial Hospital, Cumberland. He had been seriously ill for several weeks. He was a son of the late Jesse and Adelaide (Schrock) Cook. His wife, Anna M. Cook, died in April 1945. Mr. Cook was a retired railroad employee and prominent in the community in which he lived, and brought up a fine family. He is survived by the following children: Harry and Walter, Glencoe; Clyde, Johnstown; J. L. Cook, Meyersdale; and Margaret and Julia, at home; also by two sisters - Mrs. M. H. Bauman, Glencoe R.D., and Mrs. Edward Spratt, Carnegie, Pa. Funeral services were held in the Evangelical Church of Glencoe, Tuesday, at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. Harry Greer officiating. Interment in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Son, Berlin morticians. Meyersdale Republican, January 31, 1946
