  George William (Bill) Cook, 85, S. Edgewood Ave., Somerset died July 1,
  1973 in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born in Fort Louden September 10,
  1887.  A son of Alexander and Nancy (Hull) Cook.  Preceded in death by his
  wife, Mary Emma (Critchfield), two sisters and one brother.  Survived by
  these children, Arlene, wife of Raymond Rose and Helen, wife of William
  Queer of Somerset, Cober H. of Tuscon Ariz., one granddaughter, two
  grandsons and two great-grandchildren.  He was a member of the Trinity
  Lutheran Church and the United Mine Workers of America.  Friends will be
  received from 7-9 Monday at Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where service
  will be conducted Tuesday 10:30 a.m. Rev. H. James Meyers officiating. 
  Interment Husband Cemetery.
