  Guy A. Cook Sr., 82, of Garrett, died Sept. 16, 1974, at his home.  Born
  Oct. 3, 1891, in Bedford County, he was a son of the late James and Susan
  (Ahlburn) Cook.  He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Nita
  Shaffer.  Surviving are three children, Guy A. Cook Jr., of Garrett; Ray,
  Pittsburgh; and Mrs. Paul Zimmerman, Hyndman; also four grandchildren and
  six great-grandchildren.  Mr. Cook was a retired B&O Freight agent with 62
  years of service.  He was a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, Garrett,
  and of Masonic Lodge 589, Hyndman.
  Funeral service will be held this (Thursday) morning at 11 o'clock in Price
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale.  Interment in High land Cemetery, Garrett.
