Cook, 98, Brush Creek Road, Fairhope, died March 19, 2001 at home. Born March 23 1902 in Mance, son of Calvin W. and Ella (Mishler) Cook. Preceded in death by parents, wife Geneva (Bittner) Cook on April 21, 1991 son Melvin C. Cook on Dec. 5, 2000, brothers Charles, Newton, Bunn, Bob, and Bertrum, sisters Sarah Adaline Werner, Ida Owen and Rose Edwards. Survived by daughter-in-law Mary Frances "Blondie" (Albright) Cook, grand children: Clifford, married to the former Cindy Riggleman, and Kathleen, married to John Riley, of Fairhope; great-granddaughter Ann-Marie Cook of Stockton, Calif., half-sister Betty (Bittner) Smith of Berlin and special niece, Mary Lou (Edwards) Raley. Also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews. Retired track foreman for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad with over 41 years of service. Member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, where he held various offices for many years. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Joseph Onder officiating. Interment, Mt.
