Cook, 66, died at his home in Johnstown Sept. 11, following an illness of ten days. He had been a resident of Johnstown for 47 years, coming from Berlin, where he was born. He was a son of the late Edward L. and Delilah (Brubaker) Cook. In 1895 he was united in marriage with the former Mary Marsh, who survives. In addition to his widow, he left two children - Margaret, wife of Frank Slick of Cleveland, and Leroy, of Westmont. A daughter, Josephine, passed away in 1920. He also left two sisters, Mrs. G. E. Goggin and Mrs. Emil Young, both of Johnstown. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Cook and Mr. George Cook. He was a nephew of the late Squire Wm. B. Cook of Meyersdale.
