Bob Cook, 87, Brush Creek Road, Fairhope (Glencoe) died May 14, 2000 at home. Born Jan. 9, 1913 in Glencoe, son of Calvin and Ella (Mishler) Cook. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Charles, Bunn, Bertram and Newton Cook; and sisters, Adeline Werner, Ida Owens and Rose Edwards. Survived by his wife of 57 years, the former Alice C. Glessner; brother Homer of Glencoe and half-sister Betty (Bittner) Smith of Berlin; also numerous nieces and nephews. A World War II army veteran. He was a forest fire warden at Hay's Mill Fire Tower for 50 years. Retired owner-operator of Cook's Store, Glencoe. Member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, Berlin American Legion and Meyersdale Moose Lodge. Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday Rev. Craig L. Lyman officiating. Interment, Mt.
