  Jacob Blair Cook, 81, Meyersdale, died Jan. 2, in West Penn Hospital,
  Pittsburgh.  Born July 8, 1885, on Hyndman RD, he was a son of the late
  Theodore and Mary Ellen (Tipton) Cook.  He is survived by his wife, the
  former Gertrude Pearl Feichtner, and three daughters: Mrs. Hazel Speicher,
  Mrs. Evelyn Santmyers and Miss Mae Cook, all of Pittsburgh, and two grand-
  children.  He was a brother of John Cook, Cumberland; Noah and George, both
  of Hyndman; and Mrs. Estella Smouse, Everett.  A retired B and O Railrond
  engineer with 35 years of service.  Mr. Cook was a member of the Brotherhood
  of Locomotive Engieers and Firemen.  Friends are being received at Price
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m.
  Friday, with Rev. W. A. Cassidy officiating.  Interment will be made in the
  Hyndman cemetery.
