Cook, 67, a member of the firm of the Frostburg Furniture and Undertaking Company, died Saturday, May 29, after an illness of more than a year. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at his home, by the Rev. Watson E. Holley, pastor of the First Methodist Church. Interment was made in the Allegany Cemetery. Mr. Cook was secretary of the Frostburg company for nearly 40 years, relinquishing the duties because of ill health, a short time ago. He was well known throughout the Georges Creek region and Garrett County as an undertaker, and was prominent in church, Rotary and Masonic circles. He is survived by his second wife and two sons, Dr. Albert C. Cook and John W. Cook, Frostburg. Meyersdale Republican, June 3, 1948
