Cook, 75, of Cook Road, Fairhope, died Dec. 5, 2000, Somerset Hospital. Born June 25, 1925, in Glencoe, son of Homer V. of Fairhope and the late Geneva (Bittner) Cook. Survived by a wife of 54 years, Mary Frances (Albright) Cook, a son Clifford, married to the former Cindy Riggleman, a daughter Kathleen, married to John Riley, both of Northampton Township, one granddaughter Ann-Marie Cook, Stockton, Ca. He was a retired tele graph operator for the former B&O and CSX Railroads. Graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School, class of 1944. Member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church where he held various offices. Member of the Berlin VFW post #7295, former member of Somerset County CB radio club, Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and served with the 15th Air Force stationed in Italy. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where services will be held at 11 a.m Saturday with Rev. Joseph Onder officiating. Interment will be Mt. Lebanon cemetery and memorial contribution may be sent to Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, Fiarhope, Pa. 15538. Daily American, December 7, 2000 [C0900]
