  RAY M. "MICK" COOK
   
  Ray M. "Mick" Cook, 85, Garrett, died Sept. 16, 2004, at Meyersdale Medical
  Center.  Born March 9, 1919, in Hyndman.  A son of the late Guy A. and Nita
  (Shaffer) Cook Sr.  Survived by his wife, the former Alice R. Ray, and two
  children, James R. Cook, Rocky Mount, N.C.; and Chyrrl R. Hanna, Lakeland,
  Fla.  Also seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  A brother of
  Guy A. Cook Jr., Garrett and Doris Zimmerman, Hyndman.  A veteran of the
  U.S. Army World War II and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Avalon.  Mick
  was retired from Allegany Ballistics in Frostburg, Md.  Friends will be
  received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday.  The Rev.
  Owen Preston officiating.  Interment Highland Cemetery, Garrett.  In lieu of
  flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 168 W. Union
  St., Somerset, Pa. Arrangements by the William Rowe Price Funeral Home Inc.,
  Meyersdale.
