  RUTH F. COOK
  
    Ruth F. Cook, 91, of Frostburg, MD, died Wednesday, July 11, 1990, at
  Lions Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland, MD.
    Born Aug. 10, 1898, in Grantsville, MD, she was the daughter of the late
  Jacob and Mary (Kolbfleish) Beachy.
    She was preceded m death by her husband, Walter L. Cook, in 1949.  She
  was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
    She and her husband owned and operated Cook's Store on Bowery Street for
  a number of years.  She was a member of the Frostburg United Methodist
  Church; Mountain Chapter 15, Order of the Eastern Star; the Ladies Shrine,
  and a charter member of the Daughters of the Nile.
    She is survived by two sons, Francis L. Cook, Flintstone, MD; and Dr.
  Warren W. Cook, Cumberland, MD; four grandchildren; and four
  great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home, where services were
  conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Richard K. McCullough.  Interment,
  Frostburg Memorial Park.
