  COOPER
  
  Herbert C. Cooper, 57, Greencastle RD 4, Pa., died April 28, 1977, in the
  Harrisburg Hospital.  He was born February 17, 1920, in Erie, Pa., a son of
  Clyde and Velma Wright Cooper.  He is survived by his parents of Palmer,
  Alaska; his wife, Thelma May Cooper, of Greencastle; three sons: Gary, of
  Lewisville, Texas; Herbert Jr., of Export, Pa.; and Phillip, of Kennawick,
  Washington; one daughter, Mrs. Edward Reed of Greencastle; two brothers:
  Murton, of Savannah, Georgia; and Jack, of Palmer, Alaska: nine
  grandchildren.  He was a World War II Veteran and served in the Airborne
  Engineer Corp.  Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral
  Home, Rockwood, from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday,
  where services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m.  Interment, Laurel
  Cemetery, with the Rev Jack Cooper officiating.
