Born March 17, 1923, in Meyersdale, son of late Luigi and Carmella (Spartara) Corbaci. Preceded in death by one brother, Leo, South Bend, Ind. Survived by wife, the former Vivian E. Mickey, and these children: Dennis, Somerset; Stephanie, Somerset; Vincent, California; David, Texas; Kristina Kelly and Maryann Corbaci, both of Johnstown; 10 grandchildren. Reared by mother and aunt and uncle, Hattie and Joseph Spartara. Member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church. Veteran of World War II. Received four Purple Hearts and Bronze Star. Member of Meyersdale American Legion. Retired employee of Pennsylvania liquor stores. Retired co-manager of the Somerset and Meyersdale stores. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Church, Msgr. Samuel Tomaselli officiating. Interment, Kingwood Cemetery. Wake service will be conducted at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday at funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Peter's Church or Somerset Hospice, South Center Avenue, Somerset.
