Corbett, 71, Maple Ridge, Somerset, formerly of Beaver Falls, died June 21, 1982, at the Altoona Veterans Administration Hospital. Born Feb. 10, 1911, in Beaver Falls, he was a son of the late James G. and Bertha (Oesterle) Corbett. Preceded in death by three brothers. Survived by his wife, the former Clarinda Perrott; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Karen) Howell and Miss Clarinda Corbett, both of Chicago, Ill.; three grandchildren; and one brother, F.J. Corbett, Honolulu, Hawaii. Founder of Bell Finance in 1948, which he owned and operated until his retirement in 1973. He was a World War II veteran and served with the criminal investigation division of the U.S. Air Force. Memorial service will be conducted at the late residence at 2 p.m. July 9, 1982, with the Rev. William Doncaster officiating. Private interment, Somerset County Memorial Park under the direction of Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home. No viewing of the remains. No flowers.
