(Pete) Corley, 60, of 514 Ohio St., Boswell, died May 25, 1973, at Somerset Community Hospital. He was born July 27, 1912, in Boswell, the son of Peter A. and Elizabeth Shippey Corley. He was preceded in death by his mother who died Nov. 28, 1954, and his father who died Oct. 17, 1962. He is survived by two brothers, Walter A. and Harry L., both of New York City, and a sister Genevieve, wife of C. Dwight Barron Jr. of Boswell. He was a life-long resident of Boswell and long-time employe of the former Terrace Chevrolet, Jerome. He was veteran of World War II and member of Boswell Post No. 461 American Legion and Somerset VFW Post No. 554. Friends received after 7 p.m. Saturday in the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Jeffrey Kistler.
