Corley, 56, Bronx, N.Y., formerly of Boswell, died unexpectedly March 18, 1976 in Boswell. Born Aug. 16, 1919 in Boswell, son of Peter A. and Elizabeth Shippey Corley. Preceded in death by mother, Nov. 28, 1954; father, Oct. 17, 1962; and brother Glenn, E. "Pete", May 25, 1973. Survived by his widow, the former Helen Zima, a brother of Walter A. and Genevieve, wife of C. Dwight Barron Jr., both of Boswell. He was the manager of a Horn and Hardart Restaurant in New York where he was employed for 38 years. Member of Horn and Hardart Memorial Post No. 1192 American Legion, New York. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. George A. Clark officiating. Interment, Dry Ridge Cemetery, Bedford County.
