Corley, 61, of Wellersburg, died January 15 in Smith's Nursing Home, Manns Choice. Born October 5, 1915 at Hyndman, Mr. Corley was a son of the late E. Ross and Bertha (Clites) Corley. Mr. Corley was a member of Barrelville Presbyterian Church. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Polled Hereford Association. Surviving are his widow, Zeppie (Martin) Corley; a son, Melvin W. Corley, Corriganville; a daughter, Linda L. Denton, a nurse with the Air Force at San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Lint, Cumberland; Mrs. Helen Geisler, New Paris, Pa., and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at the Zeigler Funeral Home with Rev. Steven H. Washburn of Frostburg officiating. Interment, White Oaks Cemetery. Pallbearers were Vernon Elliott, Paul Logue, Kenneth Blank, George Archie, Oscar Petenbrink, Walter Witt and Louis Gomer. Meyersdale Republican, January 20, 1977 [C0946]
