    Harry Alfonson "Uncle Harry" Cornell, 93, Windber, formerly of Hooversville, died Aug.
  11, 2007, at Windber Medical Center. Born March 3, 1914, in Sunnyside, son of Robert and
  Josephine (Bosseti) Cornell. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Miriam
  Shaffer; and brothers, Robert and William. Survived by sister- in-law, Catherine Cornell;
  nieces, Christine Cornell (Jerry Hartsell), Vivian (Robert) Lowrie, Janet (John) Sluka,
  and Kathleen (Larry) VanderVelde; nephews, Robert (Kathy) Cornell, David (Susan) Cornell
  and William (Theresa) Lesso; great-nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Kristen, Heidi, Lindsey,
  Danielle, Derek, Bill, Joey, Kevin (Susan), Chris (Kathleen) and Stephan (Ivy); and
  great-great-nieces, Brooke, Paige, Eve and Lucy. Wherever you are, we know "The Sun is
  Shining". Harry had a variety of jobs starting at age 12 and continuing through his
  retirement from Miller Electric, Somerset, in 1979. He was a many of many talents,
  including blacksmith, coal miner, knife sharpener, salesman and meat cutter, just to name
  a few. He was also a member of the Masonic Order. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville, where service will be held
  at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. John Eash officiating. Interment Maple Spring Cemetery,
