Born March 3, 1914, in Sunnyside, son of Robert and Josephine (Bosseti) Cornell. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Miriam Shaffer; and brothers, Robert and William. Survived by sister- in-law, Catherine Cornell; nieces, Christine Cornell (Jerry Hartsell), Vivian (Robert) Lowrie, Janet (John) Sluka, and Kathleen (Larry) VanderVelde; nephews, Robert (Kathy) Cornell, David (Susan) Cornell and William (Theresa) Lesso; great-nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Kristen, Heidi, Lindsey, Danielle, Derek, Bill, Joey, Kevin (Susan), Chris (Kathleen) and Stephan (Ivy); and great-great-nieces, Brooke, Paige, Eve and Lucy. Wherever you are, we know "The Sun is Shining". Harry had a variety of jobs starting at age 12 and continuing through his retirement from Miller Electric, Somerset, in 1979. He was a many of many talents, including blacksmith, coal miner, knife sharpener, salesman and meat cutter, just to name a few. He was also a member of the Masonic Order. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. John Eash officiating.
