  CORNELL
  
  Lewis D. Cornell, 79, of Stoystown RD 1, died Oct. 4, 1977 in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born July 18, 1898 in Manor, son of August and Treasa
  (Zampedri) Cornell.  Preceded in death by parents; a brother, August;
  sisters, Anne and Rose.  Survived by his widow, the former, Dolly Zanoni,
  and these children: Richard, married to Caroline Colosimo of Sidman; Robert
  married to Doris Fowler of Louisville, Ky.; Mrs. Dwain (Arlene) Hauger of
  Somerset; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs.
  Josephie DePellagrini of Talcottville, Conn.; and aunt, Jennie Sampedro of
  Alliance, Ohio.  A retired coal miner he was a member of UMWA Local 1040 of
  Johnstown, Shanksville United Methodist Church, Quemahoning Rod and Gun
  Club, and the Jenners Rod and Gun Club.  Family received friends Tuesday
  evening and will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Services will be conducted at 10 a.m.
  Thursday at Shanksville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Marlin A.
  Miller officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  No viewing
  at the church.
