  DOUGLAS W. CORVIN
  
    Douglas W. Corvin Sr., 80, of Meyersdale RD 4, died Dec. 21, 1980, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    He was born Feb. 23, 1900, in Radford, Va., son of the late Menden P. and
  Anna (Echols) Corvin.  He was preceded in death by five brothers: Kelly,
  Herndon, Gene, Joseph and Wilmuth; two sisters: Mrs. Virginia Baughman and
  Mrs. Elizabeth Keffer; and a grandson, Douglas W. Corvin III.  He is
  survived by his wife, the former Evelyn C. Inks, and these children:
  Douglas W. Jr., of Renfrew; Ann Gerhart, Meyersdale RD 4; and Sara
  Braverman, Cannonsburg.  Also survived by seven grandchildren and one
  great-grandson.  He was a brother of Arlyn B. of Morrell; and Mrs. Louise
  Baer, of South Connellsville.  He was a veteran of World War I; retired
  from the B&O Railroad in 1966 after 45 years of service; a member of
  B.R.A.C. and the American Legion.  Friends were received at the Price
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services were conducted Tuesday. 
  Interment, White Oak Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please make
  contributions to the Meyersdale Area Ambulance Association.
