Born Dec. 30, 1927 in Castel Frentano (C H), Abruzzo, Italy son of the late Nicola and Filomena (Cotellesse) Costantino. Also preceded in death by infant daughter Mary, brother Vito and sister Angela Esposito. Survived by wife of 56-1/2 years, former Ellen Pierre and children Nicholas S., married to the former Susan Clapper, and Yvonne, wife of Mark Sollenberger, both of Windber, Anthony G. Costantino, Ambler, Stephen A. Costantino, Reading, and Elaine Costantino, Phildelphia; grandchildren Angela, wife of Mike Vuckovich, Gina Costantino, Abby, wife of Brett Bennethum, Nicholas S. Costantino, Jr., Stephen, David, and Ellen Sollenberger, great granddaughter Paige Bennethum, and numerous nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law to Sue Costantino, Weirton, Katie Morbit, Johnstown, and Albert Finella, Windber. Steve was former co-owner and operator of United Metal Fabricators, Johnstown. He created and implimented many improvements on medical equipment used in physicians' offices and hospitals. Steve also was an avid gardener. Member of ISDA and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday. TOR Franciscans. Committal church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Inc., Windber where vigil for the deceased will be held. Memorials may be made to Regional Hospice at Windber in memory of Steve Costantino.
