GEORGE H. COTE

  George H. Cote, 58, of Berlin, died at his home on Broadway at 10:30 p.m., 
Friday, after a serious illness of two weeks.
  He was born in St. Hyacinth, Quebec, Canada, the son of Joseph and Rose Ann 
(Fradette) Cote.
  He is survived by his wife, Margaret Collins Cote; one daughter, Mrs. Clifford 
A. Wallace of Merrimac, Mass.; one brother, Ralph Cote of Boston, Mass.; one 
sister, Mrs. William Dykeman of Bermuda.
  Mr. Cote has been a resident of Berlin for the past six years and was an 
active member of the Berlin Lions Club.  He was unusually fond of sports and 
made many friends in the community.
  Funeral services were held in the Johnson Funeral Home, Monday at 2 p.m., with 
the Rev. Robert S. Nagle of the Lutheran Church, of which he was a member, 
officiating.
  Interment was made in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Berlin.
