Coughenour, 85, Armagh, died Feb. 7, 1988 at Indiana Hospital. Born July 4, 1902 in Kingwood, Somerset County, son of the late Joseph and Anna (Tiberberg) Coughenour. Preceded in death by sons Albert and William, daughter Blanche Ritchey, brothers, Harry, Hillary, Harvey, John and Charles, and sisters Tina and Lucy. Survived by wife, former Verda Fleming, and these children: Betty Yoder, Cogan Station; Florence, wife of W. Harry McLaughlin, Armagh; Evelyn, wife of Glenn Thompson, Blairsville RD l; Gerald, married to former Winifred Fleming, Armagh; Richard, married to former Sara Blough, Hampton, Va.; and Robert, married to former Nancy Hunter, Armagh, also 20 grandchildren and nine-great-grandchildren. Retired employee of Pennsylvania Electric Co. of Johnstown. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Kenneth A.
