(Grove) 10/16/06 Daily American Clova P. (Grove) Coughenour, 92, Somerset, passed on Oct. 14, 2006, at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown. Born Oct. 28, 1913, in Garrett, she is the daughter of the late Clyde and Mary (Haer) Grove. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Wayne Coughenour; grandson, Shawn Coughenour; sisters, Ruth Harmon and Shirley Marques; and brother, Mack Grove. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Wilmer Coughenour; children, Jack, married to Helen (Eagle) Coughenour, Rockwood; Carol, married to Carl Schrock, Somerset; Thelma, married to James Miller, Red Lion; Frank, married to Marlene (Stoskel) Coughenour, Washington; and Judy, married to Stanley Krow, Wrightsville; grand-children, Vicki Sechler, Donna Fox, Paul and Scott Coughenour, Ron Schrock, Ronda Kimmel, Rodney and Robb Schrock, Derek and Tara Coughenour; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosalie Uphouse, Somerset; and Mary Kathryn McDonald, Washington. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Somerset and Wills Grange, being awarded the Golden Sheath Certificate by the National Grange in recognition of 50 years of continuous service. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, following one hour of visitation, at the First United Methodist Church, Somerset. The Rev. Patricia Nelson, officiating. Interment at Wills Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
