  COUGHENOUR
  
  Ira W. "Pete" Coughenour, 93, of Fayette Nursing Center, Markleysburg,
  formerly of Fairhope RD l, died June 8, 1993, at Uniontown Hospital.  Born
  Aug. 12, 1899, in Allegheny Township.  Son of Edward E. and Susan Jean
  (Glessner) Coughenour.  Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Myrtle Adams
  and Mae Burkett; brothers, Elmer, Walter and Eugene; and five infant
  brothers and sisters.  Survived by these sisters: Romaine Keller of
  Somerset and Mrs. Paul (Pearl) Engleka of Fairhope RD 1, and numerous
  nieces and nephews.  World War II Army veteran.  Retired from the B&O
  Railroad.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday
  at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Friday, the Rev. C.J. Ickes officiating.  Interment, Mt. Zion Cemetery.
