  COUGHENOUR
  
  Janet Fern Coughenour, 61, of Somerset died April 6, 2000 at Somerset
  Hospital, Somerset.  Born Sept. 15, 1938 in Stoystown, daughter of Oliver
  Harrison and Helen Elizabeth (Hartman) Snyder.  Preceded in death by
  father.  Survived by mother and stepfather Helen Elizabeth Snyder-Bowers
  and Guy H. Bowers of Friedens, husband James Dennis Coughenour to whom she
  was married 39 years and these children: Timothy J. Coughenour, married to
  the former Jacqueline Conn of Confluence; Mrs. Don (Jamye) Paul of
  Somerset; Chris R. Coughenour, married to the former Cathleen Kelemen of
  Friedens, and Scott H. Coughenour, married to the former Paula Keyser of
  Friedens; also five grandchildren, Mrs. Ronald (Nicole) Gross of Somerset,
  Joshua, Katie, Heather and Helen Coughenour, and a great-granddaughter
  Hannah Gross.  Sister of Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Haney of Rockwood, Tommy R.
  Snyder of Somerset, and Mrs. Fouad (Patricia) ElBawly of Friedens.  A 1955
  graduate of Somerset High School and a 1960 graduate of Washington County
  Hospital School of Nursing in Hagerstown, Md.  Co-owner with her husband of
  Jim's Truck Stop and Jimmy's Restaurant of Somerset.  Friends received from
  7 a 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday,
  Rev. Roger L. Forty officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial
  Park.  Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 400
  Luray Ave., Johnstown, Pa. 15904.
