JULIA PEARLE COUGHENOUR

  Mrs. Julia Pearle Coughenour died of Cardio-Vascular disease, Saturday, 
November 23, at 1:55 a.m., at her home in Rockwood, at the age of 39 years, 
after an illness of three years.
  A daughter of Bessie and Benjamin Shumaker, she was born in Rockwood.  She was 
united in marriage with Lance Coughenour, who died December 8, 1945.
  Besides her parents, she is survived by one brother, Elmer Shumaker, one 
sister, Arlene Hyatt and the following children - George, Alverta, Pauline, 
Shirley and Bessie.
  Funeral services were conducted Monday, at 2 p.m., by Rev. John M. Miller, 
pastor of the Rockwood Evangelical Church of which she was a member.  Interment 
in Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
