MARGARET COUGHENOUR

  Mrs. Margaret (Shaffer) Coughenour, 82, died Friday, April 9, in Akron, O., at 
the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. B. Menges, with whom she made her home since 
the death of her husband in 1942.  She was the widow of Alex C. Coughenour of 
Fairhope, R.D. 1, who was a prominent farmer for many years.
  She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Harry Glessner of Sewell, 
N.J.; Mrs. C. B. Menges and Mrs. Walter Johnson, Canton, O.  A son, Vernon 
Coughenour, preceded her in death.
  Her body was brought to Berlin, Sunday morning.  Friends were received at the 
Johnson Funeral Home.  Services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m., in the Mt. Zion 
Church with Rev. Frank B. Hertzel officiating.  Interment was in the Mt. Zion 
Church cemetery.
